Unmeggable FC Storm Into Final with 7-2 victory over Galacticos

In the second semifinal of the coed league, Unmeggable FC booked their place in the final with a dominant 7-2 victory over Galacticos. Both teams took some time to settle into the match, but it was Unmeggable who started on the front foot, controlling possession and dictating the tempo early on.

The breakthrough came in the 8th minute when Brandyn capitalized on a poor clearance by the Galacticos goalkeeper, expertly volleying the ball into the net to give Unmeggable the lead. Galacticos, however, responded immediately with a spectacular long-range strike into the bottom right corner.

Unmeggable quickly regained control, with Jackie restoring their lead in the 15th minute. Just three minutes later, John extended Unmeggable’s advantage as he converted from Brandyn’s precise cross. The first half ended with Unmeggable leading 3-1.

Galacticos began the second half with renewed energy and they were unlucky not to score when their striker’s shot hit the underside of the crossbar and bounced back. Despite their efforts, they struggled to break through Unmeggable’s solid defense, with the Unmeggable keeper making a flying save to deny them again.

Galacticos finally reduced the deficit with a well-taken low finish from their striker, making it 3-2. However, their momentum was halted when an unfortunate own goal from a long throw-in by Nakwon put Unmeggable back in control at 4-2.

In the final 10 minutes, as Galacticos players began to tire, Unmeggable took full advantage. Brandyn scored a terrific long-range goal to make it 5-2, and Nakwon added another with a composed finish. John then capped off the scoring with a powerful header from the keeper’s long pass, sealing a comprehensive 7-2 victory for Unmeggable.

With this commanding win, Unmeggable FC advance to the final, where they will face Stranger Danger.
