Unmeggable FC score 14 in final outing of the season

Unmeggable FC defeated The Blue Pandas FC 14-4 in the final game of the season as both teams finished within a place of each other despite a significant point gap. Unmeggable FC ended the season in 5th place on 17 points while The Blue Pandas finished in 6th place on 3 points. 

Within 10 seconds, Sahib Suri had already scored for Unmeggable FC. Immediately from kick-off Suri dribbled through the entire Blue Panda defense and blasted the ball into the net to lead the game barely within the first minute. A minute later, Unmeggable FC doubled their lead with Suri’s 2nd goal and in the 5th minute, he scored his hat-trick. Suri used his speed to steal the ball and then used his strength to hold off two Blue Panda defenders and ran along the goal line to squeeze the ball into the net. He added his 4th goal a minute after his hat-trick.

In the 9th minute, Kaiya Takahashi burst onto the ball to intercept a Blue Pandas’ throw-in and ran towards goal to hammer home Unmeggable FC’s 5th goal. One minute later, Suri scored his 5th goal after he once again dribbled through multiple opponents before getting a clean look on goal. Unmeggable FC were already leading 7-0 within 11 minutes. In the 11th minute, Unmeggable FC quickly escaped their own half before putting together a quick counter attack. The ball found the foot of Nakwon Choi who hit the ball with his first touch for Unmeggable’s 7th goal. Unmeggable FC went into half-time leading 7-0.

Unmeggable FC’s first goal of the 2nd half came from Kanwardeep Sangha. An original strike was blocked by a Blue Pandas defender and rolled into the path of Sangha who blasted the ball through the grasp of the goalkeeper and into the top left corner of the net. Suri got on the scoresheet for his 6th goal in the 24th minute. 

Albeit down by 9 goals, The Blue Pandas put an end to Unmeggable FC’s scoring spree in the 27th minute. The Blue Pandas escaped their half and had three attackers in the opposition’s half before the ball came to Bhagwat for The Blue Pandas’ first goal. 

In quick succession following their first goal, Muhammad Abbas scored The Blue Pandas 2nd goal in the 27th minute. He took a long shot and caught the keeper off guard to slot the ball past the left post.

Following The Blue Pandas’ two consecutive goals, Unmeggable FC would score three goals in three minutes from Suri, Takahashi and Cheung. 

However, Unmeggable’s goal binge was interrupted in the 37th minute once again by Bhagwat. Following a goal kick, the ball was sheepishly given away by the goalkeeper directly into the path of Bhagwat who calmly placed the ball into the net.

Two minutes later, Aujla was unmarked in front of goal and had the easiest job of gently tapping the ball into the net for Unmeggable FC’s 13th goal of the game.

The Blue Pandas’ 4th and final goal came from Shafin Darmani. He intercepted an Unmeggable FC attack and had a clean two-on-zero counter attack with him, Bhagwat and the keeper. The ball was played to Darmani in front of a wide open, resulting in a goal for The Blue Pandas.

Suri put an end to the scoring, game and season with his () goal in the 43rd minute. The ball was played over the top for him to dribble before getting in prime scoring position to score and clinch Unmeggable’s 14-4 win.

Unmeggable FC ended the season with 5 wins, 5 losses and 2 draws with 77 goals scored and 63 goals conceded. The Blue Pandas finished with 1 win and 11 losses and due to their big win last week, finished in 6th place with 3 points.
