Unmeggable and Finesse split points after scoring 5 each

Both FC Finesse and Unmeggable FC entered action following sublime outings in their last match. FC Finesse had their first clean of the sheet of the season after scoring 8 goals and Unmeggable FC had a 15 goal spectacle against The Blue Pandas.

Unmeggable FC scored the game’s first goal in the 14th minute when the ball was passed into the box from a free kick for an easy tap-in. They immediately capitalized on their momentum and doubled their lead in the 15th minute. FC Finesse calmed the game down and scored two goals in minute 20 and 23 to tie the game. Then, at the brink of half-time, FC Finesse went ahead when a half-field pass turned shot trickled through the goalkeeper’s grasp. FC Finesse entered half-time leading 3-2.

Unmeggable FC were the team to open up the 2nd half scoring in the 29th minute after a quickly taken free kick with shades of Trent Alexander-Arnold was played to just outside the penalty to sneak its way past the Finesse defense. Following the goal, FC Finesse had their chances to go ahead but ultimately couldn’t until the 34th minute when they regained the lead. However, the lead was short lived because barely within 30 seconds, Unmeggable FC tied the game at 4-4. Unmeggable FC’s 5th and final goal came in the 38th minute after great pressure in FC Finesse’s half forced a turnover. However, the story of the game would continue when FC Finesse capped off the 10 goal thriller with a goal to tie the game at 5-5 in the 40th.

As many thought leading up to the contest, this game did not disappoint. With both teams splitting the points, neither team were able to break away from each other as they still sit side-by-side in the standings at 3rd and 4th. Unmeggable FC continue their run of fantastic play as they have not lost a game in over a month. FC Finesse for the 2nd straight week have picked up at least a point and prove they can still hang with the top of the league.
