Team Silver Dominates In Coed Opener

Team Silver scored nine goals and shut out The Avenghers in the opening match of coed action for the 2023 season.

Immediately from kick-off, Silver were on the attack with a plethora of goals from the get go. By the 2nd minute they had already scored and by the 3rd minute they had already gotten their second goal. Both goals came from pure dominance and they took advantage of some less than ideal defending on The Avenghers behalf. Throughout the first half, they continued their offensive onslaught throughout the first half as they extended their lead to three by the 10th minute. Despite the large early lead, Silver would add three more goals by half-time. For all three goals, Silvers outworked and outskilled their opponent to get clean looks near the front of the net. After a dominating first half display, Silver led at half-time by the score of 6-0.

With a fifteen minute break and another half to play, Silver went right back on the attack following the restart. They added three more goals to their lead in the 29th, 34th and 41st minute. Silver was able to get great looks on the net with very little resistance from The Avenghers. Silver’s defense was as good as their defense as they allowed The Avenghers to have no room to attack. Despite the horrid conditions, Silver did not let it affect their play. They were a bright spot on a pitch literally filled with darkness. By the time the final whistle was blown, Silver led by nine goals to nothing.

This was just straight up domination from Team Silver. They established a clear gap in skill and cruised to a statement win. They showed no signs of letting up throughout the entire game and may not for the remainder of the season.
