Tapatios FC score 15 in sensational win over Mictlan FC

It was absolute domination for Tapatios FC as they rolled through Mictlan FC for a 15-2 win on Friday night.

This was one of the biggest wins of the season and a clear gap in competitiveness and skill level between the two teams. Tapatios were eager to start this game on the right foot, and that is exactly what they did, scoring in the second minute. After an original save by Mictlán FC, the Tapatios attackers were quick to get the rebound and score the game’s first goal. After allowing the first goal, Mictlan tightened up their defense, stopping most of the Tapatios attack. That was until the 12th minute when they got back on the scoreboard. Mictlan were left exposed and the defense was never able to recover as a ball rolled into the back of the net. After dominating the first half, Tapatios FC added two more goals in the 16th and 19th minute to take a four goal advantage into half time.

Once the second half began, Tapatios had no thoughts of stopping as they went on to score 11 goals in the final frame. The scoring began in the 30th minute when Tapatios FC had a corner and they dribbled through the entire Mictlan defense to score. In the 33rd minute, Tapatios were awarded a penalty kick, and obviously they made no mistake and guided the ball into the net. Mictlan FC finally got on the scoresheet in the 35th minute when they created a solid attack, resulting in a counter for them. However, the goal wouldn’t mean much as Tapatios came right back to score their 8th and 9th goals of the game. There wasn’t much Mictlan FC could’ve done to prevent Tapatios’ attacking prowess, and nothing went right for Mictlan as they fell 15-2 when the final whistle was blown. 

This was a huge confidence boost for Tapatios in one of the biggest score lines of the season. It was pure domination from the opening whistle and nothing could be done to stop them. They’ll be heading into the following weeks with their heads held high as one of the best teams so far. For Mictlan, they’ll look to quickly put this behind them and regroup for their next game.
