Tapatios FC run rampant in win over Brewventus

Tapatios FC scored 11 goals to defeat Brewventus in a dominating contest on Friday night.

From the opening whistle, all the attack in this game was from Tapatios FC. They finally started the scoring in the 8th minute when Gabriel Rocha easily guided the ball into the net with zero resistance from the Brewventus defense. Tapatios kept the momentum rolling, scoring less than a minute later when Tapatios made use of an errant pass by Brewventus’ goalkeeper, and Hector Lerma Graxiola had an easy finish in front of the net. They were nowhere near done with their scoring as they added four more goals before the half was over. In the 12th minute, Tapatios had a quick run of passing which was too hard to stop, leading to a simple finish for Alejandro Ortega Hernandez. The attack kept coming as Brewventus were left with no space to breathe while Tapatios continued to put their foot on the gas. Lerma Graxiola and Ernesto Arteaga added two more goals before Brewventus finally got on the board in the 20th minute. They were awarded a free kick just outside the penalty area, and Akhil Aggarwall made no mistake to score his team’s first goal. Just before half-time, in the 23rd minute, Arteaga dribbled through multiple Brewventus defenders to get right in front of the net and easily score to extend the lead to 6-1.

The first goal of the second half didn’t take long as Tapatios picked up exactly where they left off. A quick counter from Tapatios led to Brewventus being exposed at the back, and it was another straightforward tap-in goal for Rocha. Brewventus did a solid job of shutting out Tapatios during the middle of the second half, until Rocha came firing back for his hat-trick in the 37th minute, which opened the floodgates for more Tapatios goals. In the 41st minute, Brayan Valadez scored his first goal of the game from an impossibly tight angle, squeezing the ball into the net. One minute later, Tapatios made use of another Brewventus turnover and once again Lerma Graxiola was on the doorstep to join Rocha with his hat-trick. The final touches of the game were put on by Omar Barragan in the 46th minute when Tapatios scored yet another goal in front of the goal. After a convincing effort by Tapatios, the final whistle was blown to signal the 11-1 win.

This was another commanding win for Tapatios FC, something they’ve done all season long. With another win under their belt, they’ll look to keep the momentum rolling on as the season continues. Brewventus will need a lot more direction in their approach as they hope for more favourable results in the future.
