Serbia United pick up 5th win after another dominant outing

FC Serbia United have continued their dominant start to the season with an emphatic 10-1 victory over Rats United. Aleks Kalajdzic’s hat-trick guided Serbia United to their 5th consecutive win, the first and only team to do so this season.

After controlling their previous games, Serbia United started this game with a forceful attack. It took longer than usual but Serbia United got their first goal in the 12th minute. After countless attacks to begin the contest, Serbja United had plenty of chances and their persistence paid off when Aleks Kalajdzic went in front of the net for the game’s first goal.

In the 16th minute, Rats United equalized after a broken up Serbia United attack that saw Liam Elgert put away a slick finish. Unfortunately for Rats United, that would be the only positive they would see for the remainder of the game as Serbia United would score nine unanswered goals to end the game.

Serbia United re-gained the lead with two consecutive goals in the 19th and 21st minute, scored by Luka Baljak and Kalajdzic. Baljak’s shot was a rocket drilled just under the crossbar and Kalajdzic’s effort was too strong and powerful for anyone to handle. After a fairly competitive and even first half, Serbia United went into the break leading 3-1.

Following half-time, Serbia United went right back on the attack. Their first goal of the second half came in the 31st minute which opened up the floodgates for six more goals after that. Serbia United entered Rats United’s half with precision with Sasha Vukovic getting the last kick into the net. Four minutes later, Milan Zivadinovic extended the lead to five goals when he pounced on a misplaced Rats United pass and scored before anyone could notice. In the 39th minute, Dimitrije Vukovic got in front of the net and his low-driven shot was strong and precise enough to find the bottom corner.

The final five goals for Serbia United all came within five minutes of each other as the lead jumped out to nine goals. In the 44th minute, Baljak scored a wonderful second goal when he ran through the entire Rats United defense and gently placed the ball past the goalkeeper for Serbia’s seventh. Two minutes later, Mike Lazarevic received a great cross-field pass and he took a couple touches before blasting the ball into the goal. Aleks Kalajdzic and Sasha Vukovic ended the gigantic goal scoring spree in the 48th and 49th minute with two goals that overwhelmed the Rats United defense.

There was nothing new in this game for Serbia United but another dominant victory. They cruised to success in similar fashion as previous week, remaining as the only undefeated team.
