MFC Dynamo win takes them to first place

MFC Dynamo made light work of their opponent as they defeated Pathetico Madrid 8-2 in the eighth matchweek of the season. Following Madrid’s decision to not replay their week five matchup, MFC Dynamo’s dominance proved to be too much to handle for them.

The game’s first goal was scored rather early in the 2nd minute by Miguel Torres. MFC Dynamo swiftly turned defense into offense as they entered the opposition half to allow Torres a clean look in front of the goal which he comfortably blasted into the top of the net. MFC Dynamo continued their attacking pressure resulting in two quick, successive goals in the 6th and 7th minute scored by Michael Stehlík and Felipe Rech. The first was a sneakily worked goal by Stehlík who, from the left side of the goal, crept the ball into the bottom left corner of the net. The second was another wonderfully crafted goal as once again MFC Dynamo were allowed to enter Pathetico Madrid’s half following little to no pressure. The ball found Rech in a compact angle, mere yards away from goal, where he easily flipped the ball into the net. Due to MFC Dynamo’s first half supremacy, they went into half-time leading 3-0.

It took until the second half but Kane Pitcher scored for Pathetico Madrid to finally get them on the board. He rebounded a shot originally saved by the keeper for Madrid’s first goal of the game. MFC Dynamo added to their lead in the 34th minute when David Danko received a pass to give him an open net which he gently tapped the ball into.

MFC Dynamo answered back three minutes later with their second and final goal scored by Amit Daniels. Daniels and Madrid first struggled to get past Dynamo’s defense on the original counter attack but Daniels’ persistence paid off when the ball found the back of the net. Unfortunately for Pathetico Madrid, two minutes later, MFC Dynamo scored their fifth goal and followed it up with their sixth one minute after. Scored by Robert Koval, both goals were near goal with zero defensive pressure which allowed Koval to easily score.

Felipe Rech and David Danko both doubled their scoring tally, respectively, in the 43rd and 48th minute to wrap up the scoring spree for MFC Dynamo. In the 43rd minute, Rech’s strike from near the half-way line looked to be an easy and simple save by the Madrid goalkeeper but the ball was mishandled and awkwardly made its way into the net. Five minutes later, MFC Dynamo once again comfortably got right in front of the goal for yet another strike that was blasted into the roof of the goal. MFC Dynamo’s second win was clinched as they won by the final score of 8-2.

Due to their much better goal difference (+30 to Cuventus’ +18), MFC Dynamo take the sole position of first place in the league, although level on 18 points with Cuventus. For Pathetico Madrid, same week, same result and it almost looks too late for a change.
