MFC Dynamo continues unbeaten run after win against Cuventus
MFC Dynamo extended their win streak to three games after an 8-3 win against Cuventus.
MFC scored eight goals to edge past Cuventus in the third match week of the season. The team was led by four goals from Mojzes and a hat-trick from Karosan.
MFC Dynamo were the first team to score and it was by Mojzes in the 4th minute. They quickly escaped their half following a throw-in and turned defense into attack. Mojzes was in the right place at the right time and followed up a shot that was originally saved by the goalkeeper. Karosan pitched in with his first goal in the 8th minute shortly after Mojzes’ contribution. MFC Dynamo easily entered Cuventus’ with zero defensive pressure from them which allowed Karosan to have a clean look on goal and swiftly place the ball in the net.
Donoghue answered back for Cuventus following MFC Dynamo’s two goals in the 11th minute. He intercepted a misplaced Dynamo pass and fired a shot that went off the crossbar and into the net to make it 2-1.
However, MFC Dynamo quickly canceled out Cuventus’ goals with two consecutive goals in the 15th and 17th minute from Mojzes and Karosan. Cuventus had absolutely no answers for MFC Dynamo’s first half offensive outpour as they led 4-1 at half-time.
Cuventus tightened up their approach out of half-time and were the first team to score in the second half. A kick from the goalkeeper ended all the way downfield which led to Ryan being left all alone for Cuventus’ second goal.
MFC Dynamo’s response was three unanswered goals in nine minutes scored by Mojzes, Karosan and Danko. Karosan scored his 3rd goal in the 39th minute following a great piece of attacking pressure while Mojzes scored his hat-trick in the 50th minute. Danko got on the board for his first goal after Karosan and Mojzes’ goals in the 47th minute. Danko got on the end of a low-driven cross and his effort proved too quick for any defender to get in the way of.
Lacey had a wonder strike for Cuventus in the 49th minute as he hit the ball from well outside the penalty area into the net. However his marvelous strike was a mere constellation goal as Mojzes scored immediately after to secure MFC Dynamo’s 8-3 win.
With this win, MFC Dynamo continue their dominance and remain undefeated while proving their attack is too much to handle. Cuventus had a solid display tonight but it once again resulted in a loss. If the team can tighten up their defense, better results will follow.
