MFC Dynamo clinch 3rd place after scoring six against FC RAWC

Following the third place game, MFC Dynamo were victorious after defeating FC RAWC. After an exciting season that saw these two teams neck and neck in the standings, they got a chance to prove who the best of the bunch was.During the season, these teams met twice. The first was a very close game that saw FC RAWC take a 6-5 win and the other was a 5-5 draw. They ended the season close together in the standings at 3rd and 4th place. They could barely be separated as FC RAWC finished with four wins, five losses and one draw while MFC Dynamo finished with six wins, three losses and one draw. The final matchup was looking like a thrilling encounter for third place. The win that FC RAWC got saw them score a dramatic 50th minute game-winning goal and the game that ended in a draw was filled with ten goals.As they typically do, MFC Dynamo got off to a quick start in this game, jumping out to an early 1-0 lead in the 6th minute. More attack came from both teams for the remaining moments of the second half but FC RAWC were the ones to score in the 17th minute. Just before half-time, in the 22nd minute, MFC Dynamo brought one last attack to take a close 2-1 lead into the second half.To open the second half scoring, FC RAWC scored two consecutive goals in the 28th minute and 29th minute to jump out to a 3-2 lead. They forced MFC Dynamo into some mistakes and used their team effort and quick passing to get in front of the net for their goals. Although, the lead only lasted two minutes as MFC Dynamo came back roaring to equalize. After equalizing, MFC Dynamo’s attacking pressure finally paid off when they scored two goals in the 41st minute and 44th minute. Just as their opponents did a handful of minutes before, MFC Dynamo dispossessed FC RAWC to have two clear paths onto the goal. In the 49th minute, FC RAWC scored to cut the lead to one goal in the dying moments. Their goal made for an exciting finish but MFC Dynamo put any last minute drama to bed as they scored one minute later to clinch the third place victory. After an exciting and hard fought season, MFC Dynamo wrapped up their campaign in a well-deserved third place. They provided the year with plenty of goals and excitement for a respectable seasonal finish.
