FC Coracran win with final kick against MFC Dynamo

FC Coracran have picked up their win of the season after a back-and-forth game that saw them leave with a 6-5 win over MFC Dynamo.

The action in this game started right away with Misael Garcia scoring the first goal of the game for FC Coracran in the first minute. Directly from a corner, the ball was struck onto goal and through the goalkeeper’s grasp with the ball barely crossing the line for a controversial opening goal. Two minutes later, Vaclav Cahyna equalized for MFC Dynamo with a run-on goal and then rolled the ball into the back of the net. FC Coracran went back into the lead in the 8th minute courtesy of Alexis Ayon’s strong strike after some quick build-up play from the team. Andres Hinojosa evened the game in the 12th minute after a string of passes ended with Hinjosa getting to the ball and putting it past the keeper. In the same minute that MFC Dynamo equalized, they took the lead when Nathan Silva got to the front of the net for a clinical finish.

Just before half-time, FC Coracran repeated exactly what MFC Dynamo did by scoring in the 20th and 23rd minute. Oscar Sifuentes scored in the 20th minute with an unorthodox, high-arcing shot that dipped just under the crossbar, catching the keeper off guard. Abraham Ayon followed in the 23rd minute with a strike from a long way out that was too fast for the goalkeeper to react to. FC Coracran led 4-3 at half-time.

It took a while for either team to make a mark in the second half but that changed when Garcia doubled the lead in the 32nd minute with a strong shot in front that was drilled into the back of the net. In the 36th minute, Michael Stehlík cut the deficit to one goal when FC Coracran failed to clear their half and Stehlík expertly ran through the entire Coracran defense and then miraculously scored from a tight angle. Just two minutes later, Cahyna equalized for MFC Dynamo with his second goal of the game. An appeal for a foul by MFC Dynamo was ignored by the referee AND FC Coracran took their attention off the game which allowed Cahyna to even the game at 5-5.

As time was winding down, it looked like this game was headed to a well-deserved draw for both teams. However, Garcia had different plans as he ended the game at the death with the last kick of the game in the 49th minute of the game. He ran on through to goal with little and ended the game then and there, leaving nothing but heartbreak for MFC Dynamo.

This was an exciting, back-and-forth with drama until the very last moment with FC Coracran grabbing their second win of the season.
