Cuventus run through Pathetico Madrid for 2nd win

Cuventus defeat Pathetico Madrid 6-2 in the fourth matchweek of the season.

Cuventus scored six goals in their defeat over the newly named Pathetico Madrid. These two teams previously faced each other in the first match week of the season where Cuventus took an 8-2 victory.

The first piece attack was from Pathetico Madrid when Carlos Baragano scored to put his team in front in the 5th minute. The ball was played to him right in front of goal and he had an easy task of tapping the ball into the net.

Damien Lacey would be the one to get his team back in the game with two successive goals in the 19th and 21st minute. The first goal came from a ball played over the top and Lacey got on the end of it and swiftly and easily scored. He followed that goal up with a tap-in one minute later. Just before half-time, Cuventus got back on the attack leading to Will Condon facing zero pressure allowing him to effortlessly score his first and the team’s third goal.

Cuventus continued their offensive masterclass in the second half in the 32nd minute. They quickly entered the Madrid half and Condon made his way in front of goal for yet another easy tap-in for Cuventus. Three minutes later, Kieran Tuohy got on the scoresheet for Cuventus’ fifth consecutive goal. The Cuventus goalkeeper played the ball all the way down the field to an open Tuohy who took a quick turn and simply put the ball in the net.

Cuventus’ attacking spree was interrupted by Amit Daniels when he scored Pathetico Madrid’s second goal. The ball found him while he was alone on the right side of the goal and he cleanly hit the ball which proved to be too much for the keeper to handle. Although that momentum shift was quickly put to an end by Condon in the 49th minute who scored his third goal to cement the win and his hat-trick. He was once again in the right place at the right time as he was unmarked mere yards to the goal which made scoring the easiest task to do. Cuventus took home a 6-2 win following five successive goals after originally trailing 1-0.

With this win, Cuventus got back to winning ways following two straight losses in the previous weeks. Unfortunately for Pathetico Madrid, a new name did not usher in any new results as they suffered their fourth consecutive defeat of the season.
