Brownies bounce back with victory after three winless games

The Brownies have bounced back with their second win of the season after a 5-2 victory against Unmeggable FC. After two consecutive defeats, the Brownies finally got their elusive second win. 

It took a while for either team to get on the board but as soon as the Brownies scored their first goal, the floodgates opened. They scored two goals in quick succession in the 16th minute and 17th minute to jump out to a 2-0 lead going into half-time. Two creative goals allowed the Brownies to have two perfect chances to score their goals.

Following half-time, Unmeggable FC were determined to make a bigger imprint on the second half. That is exactly what they did when they scored the first goal of the half. A goal kick was played directly into the Brownies box and a clean shot was taken to cut the lead to 2-1. It would be some time until the next goals would be scored as it came from the Brownies in the 35th minute and 38th minute. Two well-crafted strikes proved to be too powerful for the goalkeeper or any defender to get into the way of and increased the lead to 4-1.

The Brownies scored their final goal of the game in the 41st minute. Similar to how they played the entire game, they entered Unmeggable FC’s half with speed and precision and the play ended with a strong shot to cap off their dominant goal scoring display. The last imprint on the game was Unmeggable FC’s second goal of the game to seal the final score of 5-2. After some convincing attacks that did not end well, Unmeggable FC finally worked their way all the way to the front of the net for a goal.

After a few poor results in the previous weeks, the Brownies bounced back with a terrific performance to get back to winning ways. After five games played, they now sit with two wins, two losses and one draw.
