Brazcouver remain undefeated with win over FC Finesse

The last game of the matchday was reserved for two heavyweights of the division in Brazcouver and FC Finesse. Brazcouver were coming off two monster victories that saw them have an aggregate score of 30-1 in the previous two wins. FC Finesse were back in action after a week off and before that, a 3-2 win over GI and Friends.

The first chance of the game fell to Brazcouver in the 1st minute and they made the chance count to start the scoring – Rocha send the ball on the back post and Brazcouver took the lead – 1:0. In the 6th minute, FC Finesse were able to tie the game at 1-1 when Adeoti received a pass on the left side, moved the ball towards the penalty spot and sent the ball to the bottom right corner. Brazcouver had a few chances to go up but ultimately couldn’t capitalize until a corner where they patiently passed the ball around before Silva (11′) had an open net to shoot at – 2:1.

The remainder of the 1st half was a stalemate as both clubs had plenty of chances to score but couldn’t. In the 24th minute, Rocha was booked for a challenge and Brazcouver went into half-time leading 2-1.

The rain had started to stop and the 2nd half was ready to commence. To start the 2nd half, FC Finesse had opportunities to score but were denied by Faria’s great goaltending. On the other side, Brazcouver had their chances but FC Finesse were able to keep their deficit at only one goal.

In the 39th minute, Brazcouver were finally able to extend their lead to 3-1 after a cross was sent into the box and Cavalhieri were able to get a foot onto the ball and put it in the net. After the goal, both Brazcouver and FC Finesse had openings on goal but the defence and goalkeeper won out.

In the 45th minute, Brazcouver officially put the game to bed at 4-1. Rocha played the ball across goal for De Rosis who had the easy job of placing the ball into the net. In the 47th minute, FC Finesse received their 1st yellow card after a questionable decision by the referee from what looked to be a clean shoulder-to-shoulder play. Their 2nd yellow card came in the 49th minute when a tackle from behind by Silva stopped an FC Finesse attack.

Brazcouver once again showcased their dominance with yet another win. They continue their run of allowing a goal or less and have started to run away at the top of the table. FC Finesse comfortably sit in 4th place and after a week off have now scored a goal in every game.
