Brazcouver notch 19 goal clean sheet against The Blue Pandas

On the backend of a 24-0 thrashing against Average Joes, it’s safe to say Brazcouver were in high spirits coming into their matchup against The Blue Pandas. These two teams have played each other once before, ending in a 15-1 Brazcouver win back in the 4th week of the season. Entering this game, The Blue Pandas were in the midst of some terrible results and were still searching for the first points of the season.

A minute into the game, Neves Felipe easily pushed a Blue Panda off the ball and went half the length of the field to score the game’s first goal. He scored his 2nd goal two minutes later when he forced The Blue Pandas into a bad pass that was intercepted in their own box. In the 9th minute, following a short taken corner, Souza’s unstoppable strike from way outside blasted its way into the net to make it 3-0. The Blue Pandas first chance of the game came in the 12th minute but the long distance attempt was sent wide of the left post. Brazcouver’s 4th goal of the game came from #19 who cushioned the ball after a long cross once he was in the penalty area and scored easily.

Two minutes later, Souza’s 2nd spectacular finish came when he vollied the ball to himself and smashed it out of the air into the net. In between the Brazcouver goal spree, The Blue Pandas had another chance but sent the ball wide once again. Souza capped off his hat-trick in the 20th minute after the ball was given to him by Bezerra following a counter attack. A minute later, Bezerra scored a goal of his own after he followed up an original miss in front of goal. Neves Felipe scored his 3rd right in front of goal in the 24th minute and immediately after that, Ramos de Jesus scored his first. Directly from kick-off after the 9th goal, Neves Felipe made yet another interception and scored his 4th to end the half. The score heading into the 2nd half had Brazcouver up 9-0.

After half-time, Brazcouver stopped a Blue Panda attack and immediately turned defense into offense and Ramos de Jesus was by himself in front of goal. In the 28th minute, Bezerra practically walked into The Blue Pandas’ half after some lackluster defending and scored his 2nd goal of the game. In the 32nd minute, Ramos de Jesus capped off his hat-trick after a tap-in a couple yards from the goal. The Blue Pandas had one more chance in the 34th minute but the goalkeeper made the first real save of the game. Silva scored his first goal of the game in the 36th minute after he softly plotted a pass from Bezerra into the goal. A minute after the 14th goal, Rech got on the end of a misplaced pass to score his first and Brazcouver’s 15th. In the 39th minute, Brazcouver intercepted a pass from the Blue Panda goalkeeper for Ramos de Jesus to score 4th goal and then his 5th in the 40th. #19 and Melo finished on the high scoring display in the 42nd and 44th minute to end the game at 19-0 to Brazcouver.

This was yet another in a long list of scoring outbursts for Brazcouver. After scoring 19 tonight, their total on the season moves up to 114 and they have a goal difference of 100. On the contrary, The Blue Pandas have suffered another defeat and are still point-less. For them, a point or a win seems to be slipping further from their grasp.
