Brayan Perez Stars as New Wells City register 9-3 win over Stranger Danger

In a thrilling encounter, New Wells City showcased their attacking prowess to secure a dominant 9-3 victory over Stranger Danger in the Co-ed league. The match, filled with end-to-end action, kept everyone thoroughly entertained from start to finish.

The opening 10 minutes were particularly exciting, with both teams creating excellent chances. Stranger Danger started strongly, peppering the New Wells goal with numerous shots. The New Wells keeper made several crucial saves to keep his team in the game. Stranger Danger eventually got the breakthrough with a well-crafted team goal, deservedly taking the lead.

Despite Stranger Danger’s strong start, New Wells City mounted an incredible comeback within two minutes. In the 11th minute, New Wells equalized when their striker tapped in after some excellent wing play from Brayan Perez. Just two minutes later, Perez himself gave New Wells the lead with a well-taken goal, making it 2-1. Perez then scored his second goal with a brilliant turn and finish, putting New Wells 3-1 up.

Stranger Danger managed to pull one back with a clinical finish, reducing the deficit to 3-2. However, Brayan Perez was in sublime form as he completed a first-half hat-trick. He scored his third goal from just outside the penalty area after creating space for himself, making it 4-2 before halftime.

New Wells started the second half with the same intensity. Ryan scored two quick goals, extending their lead to 6-2. Stranger Danger created some good opportunities but were unlucky as their efforts were denied by the crossbar. New Wells continued their onslaught with Perez adding another goal after a swift counter-attack, making it 7-2.

Simran then got on the scoresheet with a tap-in, following another assist from the outstanding Brayan Perez, taking the score to 8-2. Perez capped off a fantastic individual performance with his fifth goal, making it 9-2.

Despite the scoreline, Stranger Danger fought valiantly and managed to grab a consolation goal in the dying minutes of the match, ending the game 9-3.

It was an intense match where New Wells’ forwards were lethal in front of goal, proving to be the difference. Stranger Danger, though impressive in phases, were unable to keep up with New Wells’ relentless attacking.
