All sunshine for Romania in another win

Romania remained at the top of the table, following their 10-7 win over Tapatios FC on Friday night as the rain poured down.

As soon as the game started, Romania was ready with their attack as they already jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the opening three minutes. First it was Dustin Wardrop finishing off a corner play by tapping the ball into the net in the second minute, and then in the third minute Micka Elis had a wipe open net to score and double the lead. However, Tapatios didn’t let the deficit phase them as they came roaring back to equalize the game by the fifth minute. It was some great build-up play with some back-and-forth passing until the ball was calmy slotted into the goal. In the fifth minute, Cesar Aldea let off a tremendous shot from a far distance to score the game’s equalizer. The tying goal wouldn’t mean much as Wardrop came back in 7th minute to retake the lead for Romania. Romania’s dominance was too much for Tapatios to handle as they jumped out to a 7-4 lead in the first half. Nearly everyone got in on the scoring action, while they tried to put the game to bed in the first 25 minutes.

Tapatios were sure to not let the deficit phase them as they scored the first two goals of the second half to cut the lead to 7-6 within the first three minutes. They caught Romania off guard and used their speed and craftiness to get towards before Romania had a chance to properly set up their defense. Although, Romania put their foot back on the gas, and in the blink of an eye they regained the lead and took total control of the game. This was an offense heavy game with neither team having much defensive resistance, but their attack was on fire, scoring practically every chance they had. Romania proved why they are still the best team in the league. They stopped Tapatios from gaining any realistic momentum and on the other side of the pitch, they kept putting the ball in the back of the net.

This was another convincing win from Romania as they continue to roll past any competition put in their way. They’ll be in good spirits heading into next week, still standing as the best.
